The Plan

The Individualized Good Life Roadmap

The Individualized Good Life Roadmap™ is the personalized plan you receive at the end of the assessment: a short list of practical next steps built from your answers, your priorities, and your readiness.

It is individualized, not generic. Two people with similar homes can receive very different roadmaps, because they want different lives.

How Is the Roadmap Built?

The roadmap is built at the intersection of two things: what your assessment shows about your current infrastructure, and what you said matters most to you. Steps are selected where those two overlap.

That is the difference between this and a scored checklist. A checklist sends you to your lowest number. The roadmap sends you to the place where effort will most improve the life you actually want.

It also respects how much you want to take on. Say you want to keep things simple and the roadmap stays short. Say you want a comprehensive plan and it goes further.

What Each Step Includes

Why this step was selected

Each step names the connection between your assessment and what you said matters most, in plain language.

Why it matters

A short explanation of what the step protects or makes easier. No pressure and no predictions.

A starting point

The first concrete thing to do, small enough to finish.

A suggested timeline

This month, this quarter, or this year, based on how much you said you want to take on.

Optional support

Where a step is easier with help, the roadmap says so. Handling it yourself is always a valid answer.

Is the Roadmap Yours to Keep?

Yes. The roadmap is yours whether or not you ever work with Good Life Concierge, and nothing in it requires hiring anyone.

Some steps are simple to handle on your own. Others involve research, vendors, scheduling, or coordination. Where support helps, the roadmap says so, and how working with Ned works is spelled out separately.

Questions About the Roadmap

How can I prepare for future changes without giving up my independence?

Preparation and independence work together. A plan you write yourself, while you have every option available, is an expression of control rather than a concession. That usually means naming who you would call, documenting how the household runs, keeping a second transportation option, and making the house easier to live in before you need it to be. Nothing about that requires giving anything up.

What is an Independence Infrastructure Audit™?

The Independence Infrastructure Audit™ is Good Life Concierge's structured assessment of the systems, environments, relationships, routines, and resources that support your independence. It looks at seven areas: home and environment, mobility and transportation, health and physical capacity, social connection, purpose and engagement, Lifestyle Management, and support and backup. It produces an Independence Infrastructure Profile™ showing what is strong, what is developing, and what may be worth attention.

What is an Individualized Good Life Roadmap™?

The Individualized Good Life Roadmap™ is the personalized plan produced at the end of the assessment. It combines your Independence Infrastructure Profile™ with what you said matters most to you, then suggests a short list of practical next steps with a starting point and a suggested timeline for each. It is built around your priorities rather than your lowest scores, and it is yours to keep whether or not you ever work with Good Life Concierge.
